Why We Built Patton Peak
Our Story
My husband and I moved from the city, where it was just a quick drive around the corner to get a healthy, nutritious treat. Why did we move?
We wanted a better life for our son. We lived in a small, cramped city apartment with nowhere for a growing boy to explore. So we packed up our family and moved. Before we moved, I was working full-time and decided to quit my job to make the move. After we got all unpacked, I decided I was ready to go back to work, but there was one issue.
Childcare. I had two choices. I would have to spend more than half of my paycheck on childcare or be placed on a two-year waiting list. I was not satisfied with either of those options. So I put my head down and noticed a lack of on the go snacks that were not ultra processed or drenched in sugar.
That is where Patton Peak comes into play. I started Patton Peak so that not just my son could access convenient, good-for-you, on-the-go snacks, but others could too.
About The Owner/Baker
Hi! I’m Sarah Patton: snack shenanigans manager and full-time mom to a very busy 4-year-old who proudly serves as our Quality Control Manager (who takes his job very seriously).
I started Patton Peak because I was over the overly processed stuff. Our bodies and our kids deserve better. I got to work creating snacks made with real ingredients, lots of care, and zero junk.
Most days, you’ll find me covered in oats or flour, wrangling a preschooler, and maybe being a little socially awkward (unless we’re talking snacks, then I’m in my element).
Thanks for stopping by! Everything here is made with love, a bit of chaos, and a whole lot of intention.
Peak Purpose
Mental health is a cause near and dear to our hearts. At Patton Peak, we believe in nourishing not just the body, but also the mind, fueling your day and skipping the crash, physically and mentally. It all starts with taking care of what really matters.
